1. About WWC Dashboard

Walking With Camera and WWC Dashboard are owned and operated by Mike Kohlbecker. Walking With Camera is Mike's public photography and video project. WWC Dashboard is Mike's private Mac application for operating that project behind the scenes.

The Dashboard supports governed local-file work, editable website preparation, review records, recovery checks, and authorized Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube operations for Walking With Camera accounts. It has no public registration, no public user accounts, and no public access. There is no velvet rope. There is also no rope. The budget went to more paperwork.

2. Authorized use only

WWC Dashboard may be used only by Mike Kohlbecker or someone Mike expressly authorizes. Authorized use must be lawful, must support Walking With Camera operations, and must involve only accounts, files, photos, videos, captions, thumbnails, schedules, systems, and data the user is allowed to access.

An authorized user must follow the Dashboard's displayed review, approval, recovery, and verification controls. Do not bypass safeguards, share credentials, poke the API with a broom, reverse engineer it for abuse, interfere with it, resell it, sublicense it, publicly distribute it, or use it to access another person's accounts or data without permission. The paperwork requested "prohibited conduct"; we gave it a chair and everything.

3. Content rights and human decisions

Walking With Camera remains a human-led project. WWC Dashboard can help prepare, organize, upload, schedule, verify, and record work, but Mike remains responsible for editorial decisions and final approvals.

The authorized user is responsible for confirming that Walking With Camera owns or has permission to use submitted photographs, videos, music, writing, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, schedules, destinations, and connected account access. The Dashboard does not transfer copyright, account ownership, platform responsibility, or common sense into a ceremonial USB stick labeled "probably fine."

4. Platform terms

Use of Facebook and Instagram features remains subject to Meta's applicable terms, developer policies, permissions, and technical restrictions. Use of Google and YouTube features remains subject to Google's API rules, OAuth requirements, the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Developer Policies, and the YouTube Terms of Service.

By using WWC Dashboard's YouTube features, an authorized user agrees to follow the YouTube terms and policies linked above. If an authorized user does not agree with those YouTube terms, they must not use the Dashboard's YouTube features. That is the legal version of "do not lick the frozen flagpole," except somehow less fun at recess.

Platform providers may limit, delay, reject, make private, suspend, remove, or otherwise affect an operation. WWC Dashboard does not override platform rules. The Dashboard can ask politely; the platform can still answer like a copier jam at 4:59 p.m.

5. Privacy and access revocation

The Dashboard's website, Meta, Google, and YouTube data practices are described in the Walking With Camera Privacy Policy. That policy explains what data is accessed, why it is used, where it is stored, what service providers are involved, how long records are kept where known, how to request deletion, and how to revoke access.

WWC Dashboard must not be used to collect data beyond its disclosed operational purposes. Platform credentials and tokens must remain protected and must not be placed in public files, public website pages, screenshots, captions, reports, or logs. The credentials do not want fame. They want a quiet life in protected storage.

To revoke Google or YouTube access, use Google's app permissions page at https://security.google.com/settings/security/permissions. For Dashboard-specific privacy, deletion, access, or accessibility questions, email michael@walkingwithcamera.com.

6. Implemented and planned functionality

Implemented Meta functionality includes Page identity checks, scheduled and recent Facebook Page post read-back, Mike-approved Facebook scheduling, Instagram account checks, protected Instagram publishing handoff, Instagram publication verification, and available Facebook/Instagram workflow metrics used for Walking With Camera operations.

Implemented YouTube source currently includes channel verification, private video upload, thumbnail upload, video read-back, and editable Watch the Walks website-entry work using YouTube Data API access. Current limitation: WWAS marks the YouTube API design approved, but public scheduling acceptance is not complete. Google OAuth remains in External Testing, and this unaudited API project's uploads are private-only. So no, this page is not pretending the YouTube paperwork horse has crossed the finish line. The horse is in a committee meeting about horses.

Planned or not-yet-accepted functionality must not be described as production-ready until the applicable WWAS workflow and platform requirements are actually satisfied.

7. Availability and limits

WWC Dashboard is provided for Walking With Camera's private operational use on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Local files, networks, macOS permissions, APIs, platform reviews, schedules, credentials, upload processing, third-party services, and the mighty kingdom of "try again later" can fail or change.

No guarantee is made that every preparation, upload, schedule, publication, website entry, read-back, metric snapshot, recovery action, or platform operation will complete or remain available. The Dashboard preserves review and recovery evidence where implemented, but it cannot make the internet behave by asking it to think about what it has done.

8. Ending access

Mike may stop, suspend, restrict, retire, or change WWC Dashboard or any integration at any time, including for security, maintenance, workflow changes, policy compliance, platform changes, failed verification, loss of permission, or operational risk. Platform providers may also suspend or terminate API access under their own terms.

Authorization to use WWC Dashboard ends immediately when Mike withdraws it. After authorization ends, the former authorized user must stop using the Dashboard and return or securely remove any credentials or private operational material Mike identifies, subject to required audit, security, recovery, legal, and platform retention. The app is private; the exit door is clearly marked; the paperwork still wants a receipt for the receipt.

9. Changes to these terms

Mike may revise these terms when WWC Dashboard functionality, data practices, platform requirements, or operating reality changes. A published version should show its effective date. Material changes should be reflected in public disclosures before affected production use.

If the platforms change the forms that explain the forms about the forms, these terms may need an update. Please observe a moment of silence for the keyboard.

10. A note from the paperwork department

When asked to complete another form about the form that authorized the previous form, Mike's official paperwork liaison prepared this concise executive summary:
